Recently, protesters marched on Rocky Flats to demand a renewed defense of the environment.
Forty years of activism have had its effect. It brought about the shutdown of the Rocky Flats nuclear weapons plant, and is now trying to ensure that the surrounding areas are not used for recreation purposes.
